Owners Brandon and Amy Tavalin of Tavalin Tails Farm raise pure bred registered Katahdin sheep on organic land in College Grove, Tennessee. Amy and Brandon, with their son Adam, age 10, and daughter, Grace, age 4, care for the livestock. They strive to have the best naturally and humanely raised animals in Tennessee for meat and breed stock. Adam is involved in 4-H and participates in projects such as the Chick Chain, Public Speaking, Demonstration and Archery. Grace loves ballet and caring for all the animals on the farm and looks forward to following in big brother’s footsteps in 4H!
Amy works as the Director of the Franklin Farmers Market, Director of the Pick TN Conference and as a member of the USDA State Committee. She also homeschools Adam and Grace!
Brandon is the farmer of Tavalin Tails and is the Small Ruminant Specialist for the UT Extension in Williamson County.
